Vivek Daswaney

Founder Partner

Vivek Daswaney is the founder partner of the Firm sitting in the Mumbai office.

His core strengths are in mergers & acquisitions,real estate, labour and employment, inheritance planning, trust and testamentary and general corporate commercial advisory. He also has substantial experience in corporate litigation and arbitration and has represented numerous corporations, both in India and overseas, in settlement of disputes and consequential re-organisation. His diverse experience and involvement in various areas of law over the years equip him in structuring acquisitions, real estate, debt and equity investments, insolvency resolution plans and handholding clients through the process keeping all aspects of corporate, real estate, employment, IPR, tax laws in perspective.

In the course of his practice, Vivek has been a partner at ALMT Legal, D.H. Law & Associates and IndusLaw. Vivek was one of the four scholars selected to visit The Netherlands in April-May 2004 in the Group Study Exchange Program sponsored by the Rotary International. He has cleared the certified Insolvency Professional examination conducted by the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India.

He is often invited to speak in conferences and seminars across India and is also presently associated with law and management colleges as a visiting faculty.

Associates and Counsels

The team includes 8-10 Associates and Senior Associates with experience ranging from 1-15 years of practice. Each team member is generally part of a practice area which is broadly divided into Corporate/M&A, Real Estate, Employment, Litigation and Testamentary.

The Firm also has tie-ups with of-counsels in various courts (including High Courts, NCLT, RERA, Industrial Tribunals etc.) in different jurisdictions.

The Firm retains overall management and control of the matters being handled by its counsels.
